Ice Forming – Huts On Lake!

Latest Ice Fishing Report from Lake Simcoe brings great news for the Canadian Ice Fishing Championship! Ice is getting stronger on most of the lake including at Bonnie Boats – Launch Point for the 19th Canadian Ice Fishing Championship.

‘We have eight huts out today, on Six inches of ice.’ Bonnie Boats shared adding,’ Our huts are over are over 60 feet of water,and they are fishing for White Fish and  Lake Trout here.’

Caution is still advised for the main part of Lake Simcoe. Floyd Hale's Fish Huts Beaverton reports the thickest ice  30 cm and the most huts on the lake – 40! However, you’ll want to call in advance to book as it is a VERY popular spot –all 30 huts were full last weekend.
