Beaverton Lake Simcoe Ice Report Feb 2 2013 40 Huts!

Lake Simcoe Ice Fishing Jumbo Perch!

Lake Simcoe Ice Fishing Hut Operators polled share news of great catches of Pike, Whitefish, Lake Trout and Jumbo Perch. However the Lake Simcoe Ice Report from Aurora: MNR District Office cautions Lake Simcoe, is not safe for vehicles yet, and the Main Lake is still unsafe, so it is wise to contact ice hut operators for local ice conditions. Floyd Hale's Fish Huts Beaverton reports the thickest ice  30 cm and the most huts on the lake – 40! However, you’ll want to call in advance to book as it is a VERY popular spot –all 30 huts were full last weekend.
