Bednar competes in the Canadian Ice Fishing Championship for the 17th time this coming year, so he really knows the ropes. Canadian Ice Fishing Championship veteran Roy Bednar, may have the oldest angler as his team-mate - Joe Montgomery. Joe just celebrated his 90th birthday!

Roy first learned of the Canadian Ice Fishing Championship years ago through the former Ontario Fisherman's Magazine, and has been enjoying the
competition ever since. Roy, Angler A in Team One, is pleased with the direction of the CIFC since Lures & Tours took the reins in 2011.
'Since Lures and Tours has taken over this competition, I and others have seen HUGE Improvements and Professionalism,' shared Roy adding, 'I`ll be at various tackle shops January and early February promoting the CIFC"
Roy has supported the Canadian Ice Fishing Championship for many years, and is pleased to continue his support again this year. Roy has generously offered to share information about the CIFC on his early 2013 tour. Roy also donated three Gift Certificates to the 2013 Canadian Ice Fishing Championship.
